SIGNATURES TO CATALOG MORENA AS A NARCO-TERRORIST ORGANIZATION
In compliance with the Executive Order signed on February 19 by the President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump, announcing that, as of that date, a number of Mexican cartels were designated as “Foreign Terrorist Organizations,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio reported that they are:
• The powerful Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG); • Long-standing groups such as the Sinaloa Cartel,
• the Gulf Cartel, and
• the New Michoacan Family;
• the Northwest Cartel (CDC, a splinter group of the Zetas); and
• the United Cartels, a group of cells operating in southern Mexico.
There is an urgent need for Mexicans to close ranks and completely disassociate themselves from the government, which is clearly in open collusion with criminal groups, primarily the Morena Party, which has already been labeled a “narco-government” by the United States, as well as other governments and international media outlets.
The Mexican people’s concern is legitimate. Most of our territory is controlled by these groups; disappearances and murders are part of everyday life, and the government has allowed it with its “Hugs, Not Bullets” strategy.
Having explained the above, we respectfully ask you to answer the following question:
Do you agree with classifying the “Morena” Party as a narco-terrorist group?
